Lawrence Fun Run - Sunday, October 18, 2026
Lawrence’s Fun Run returns on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at the Lawrence track from 9 AM to 10:30 AM!
This is a family-friendly 5K fun run and 1 mi walk/run for all ages and abilities. Get active and hang out with the rest of the Lawrence community! There will be finisher ribbons for all participants.
🌈 NEW THIS YEAR: THE COLOR MILE!
Our 1-mile walk/run around the Lawrence track is becoming a COLOR RUN! Students and families can run, jog, or walk 5 laps around the track, passing through designated color stations along the way. At each station, volunteers will cover participants with bursts of vibrant, non-toxic colored powder.
Come ready to get colorful, have fun, and celebrate together! We recommend wearing clothes and shoes that can get messy, T-shirts will also be available for purchase.
Schedule:
8:30 AM - Day of check-in/registration / t-shirt pick-up begins
9 AM - Welcome/stretch + 1 Mi Run/Walk around the Lawrence track
9:30 AM - 5 K Starts- race course goes from Lawrence to the Muddy River and back

Participation in the Color Run is free, but the PTO invites you to make a voluntary contribution to help support the cost of the event. All proceeds beyond costs will help the Lawrence PTO fund enrichment and materials for Lawrence students. Please consider including an optional activity donation when you register!
